Return & Refund Policy
1. Return Eligibility
- Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of delivery (unless otherwise specified).
- Products must be in original, unused, and resalable condition, with all original packaging, parts, and accessories.
- Custom, made-to-order, or non-standard items (e.g. custom sizes, special finishes) may not be returnable—unless defective or damaged.
2. Return Process
- Contact us at info@worldmanufacturing.com or call (800) 722-3539 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Provide your order number, product(s) to be returned, reason for return, and any photos if the item is damaged or defective.
- Once approved, we will send you the return shipping instructions and RMA number.
- Pack the item securely in its original carton or equivalent packaging.
- Ship the item back within 7 days of RMA issuance (unless otherwise arranged).
3. Return Shipping Costs
- For returns due to defects, damage, or shipping errors, we will cover return shipping costs.
- For buyer-initiated returns (e.g. “changed mind,” wrong size), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance—CoolCurtain is not responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
4. Inspection & Refund
- Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it.
- If the return meets the eligibility criteria, we will process your refund (minus any applicable restocking fees) within 7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
- Shipping costs paid at the time of purchase may not be refundable (unless return is due to our error).
5. Restocking Fees
- A restocking fee (e.g. 10–25%) may apply to returns of non-defective items to cover inspection, repackaging, and handling.
- Custom or special-order items may incur a higher restocking fee or may be non-returnable (confirm in advance).
6. Exchanges
- If you’d like to exchange an item for a different product, size, or color, follow the return process above.
- Place a new order separately; once your return is processed, your refund will be issued and you may reorder.
7. Defective or Damaged Items
- If you receive a defective or damaged product, notify us immediately (within 48 hours preferred), with photos and a description.
- We will arrange for repair, replacement, or refund (including return shipping at our cost).
- In some cases, we may request the return of the defective piece or ask for photo/video proof in lieu of return.
8. Cancellation Policy
- If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
- If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel and fully refund your payment.
- If your order has already shipped, you must follow the return process once it arrives.
